Our doctors apply STOPP/START criteria at every CGA — checking for dangerous drug combinations, drug-disease conflicts, and medicines that should no longer be prescribed at this age. The output is a written Medication Safety Letter sent to your parent's treating doctor. This is clinical work. Care managers cannot do it.

What is the difference between GeraVita and a regular doctor's visit? +
A regular GP visit is 10–15 minutes, aimed at a single presenting complaint. GeraVita visits are 45–60 minutes with a structured Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment — covering physical, psychological, functional, nutritional, social, and environmental health. We also review medications using STOPP/START criteria and provide a written summary to the family the same day. It is specifically designed for the complexity of ageing, not a general consultation.
Can GeraVita replace my parent's existing doctors? +
No — and we don't try to. GeraVita is a layer on top of your parent's existing care. We review what specialists have prescribed, flag potential issues, and communicate findings back to the treating team. We are the clinical oversight layer between the GP visit and the hospital, not a replacement for either.
What happens during a polypharmacy review? +
Our doctor reviews every medicine your parent is taking against Beers Criteria 2023 and STOPP/START v3 — international gold standards for prescribing in elderly patients. We check for dangerous drug-drug interactions, drug-disease conflicts, and medicines that are no longer appropriate at this age. The output is a written Medication Safety Letter sent to your parent's prescribing GP or specialist. We do not change prescriptions — we give the prescribing doctor the full clinical picture they may not have.
I live abroad. How do I stay updated about my parent's health? +
The Annual plan is designed specifically for this. It includes a monthly 15-minute Family Liaison Call with the doctor, a written Annual Geriatric Wellness Report (year-on-year comparison), WhatsApp access 7am–12pm every day, and priority appointments. All clinical records are maintained digitally and can be shared with doctors outside India.
Is there a minimum commitment? +
No. The Pay-As-You-Go Single Visit has no commitment at all — it is a single visit at ₹2,000. Care plans are structured per quarter, 6-month, or annual period, but there is no auto-renewal. You choose at the end of each period whether to continue.
